EMPLOYMENT & ACTIVISM

For 25+ I have been an active Queer and Transgender activist. Volunteering and working within TGD + Queer Community events and organisations all across Australia as way to build visibility and awareness got the Trans and Gender Diverse issues that we still face today.

1999 – 2008 + FTMA Australia Board member: Trans & Gender Diverse Youth coordinator (National).

2007 + Trans and Gender Diverse Consultant for the NSW Govt. Working with NSW Govt to develop a bill to reform Medicare, changing the system to Non-Gendered healthcare.

2001 – 2004 + Transgender Peer Support Worker Gender Centre (NSW). Youth &

2003 – 2015 + Home Grown: Penile Prosthesis Artist. Created handmade penile prosthetics and stand to pee devices for over 15 years. Selling over 5000+ products across the world. Also developed FREE workshops for TGD People  –  How to make binders, stand to pee and penile (packies) devices.

2017 – 2020 + Casual Staff Position @ RMIT University (VIC). Various roles including Graphic Designer, Conference Videographer, Student Well-being Officer, Student Events Staff & RMIT Creative Rep.

2018 + Online Accessible Arts Advisor @ Accessible Arts (NSW) .
Volunteer Role since 2018. Checking Web accessibility standards across various NSW Arts Organisations, Events and Galleries Websites.

Photographer for a Victorian Sexual health initiative, developed by Thorne Harbour Health and the Victorian Govt .

2016 – 2017 + Lead Graphic Designer, Web Designer & Developer @ PASH.tm. (AU) Producing logo, posters and 20 pp booklet with also Website Development and Web Design of the online resource for “GRUNT” a national health campaign.
