NORM’s can only ever be represented and be understood from a male-centered position. It only reproduces the ideal image of the “White able-bodied Heterosexual Cisgendered Man.” that dominates our Australian Customs, Culture and Society.
And should NOT be misread to mean the more commonly known understanding of QUEER which defines it as an umbrella term based on identity categories to represent L.G.B.T.Q+ people only.
